DESCRIPTION:Reliability trials				\n		These are non-competitive, long-distance cycling events focused on fitness, self-reliance, and navigation skills. Unlike Audax rides, which aim for a steady average speed, Reliability Trials require riders to complete a set route (e.g., 100 miles) within a specified time limit (e.g., 8 hours).Usually held by cycling clubs in winter, these trials help cyclists maintain fitness off-season. Riders receive a route card, stamped at control points along the course, sometimes near refreshment stops. Organized by non-profit clubs, they’re an excellent way to connect with local cyclists and explore club cycling opportunities.Hot and Cold Refreshments available at the Event HQ plus a wide selection of homemade cakes, buns and rolls all served up with a smile by the lovely CCB Ladies.		\n																														\n																														\n					Start				\n		Horton Kirby and South Darenth Village Hall, Horton Road, South Darent, DA4 9AZ\n\n8.00am halll open, first long distance rider off 8.30 am		\n					Check points 				\n		Check Point 1 (applies to Long and Short route)\n\nShipbourne Point 23 Long route Point 19 Short route Just before turn onto Hildenborough Road\n\nCheck Point 2 (applies to Long route)\n\nBrindley Heath Point 43. It was rather windy and one of those days where it was hard to determine which way the wind was blowing. It seems you were always riding into it!\n\n\nThe host club won the event by one point.
