DESCRIPTION:\nInformation for Travers MTB Series – Adults\n\n\n\nAdult (Male and Female) categories explained\n\n\n\nIn 2023 the categories have evolved a little, for 2 reasons, the massive increase in rider numbers in 2022 and to open up the series to new riders who have never raced before.Change 1, The introduction of a Male/Female Fun category, its open to anyone new to the sport, there will be no prizes or overall series awards to keep the entry price down, the races distance will be shortened to 45mins + 1 Lap (roughtly 1hr total)Change 2, The Female Fun category will be run at the same time as the other female categories starting 15 minuites later. The Male Fun Category and L2 riders will have their own race, meaning you will not be on course at the same time as the faster Elite and L1 riders.Womens CategoriesElite – Competitive riders from across the SEL1 – You want to race but are not quite on the level of the Elite ridersFun – Great place to start,  you are just out to have fun and learn from othersMens CategoriesElite – Competitive riders from across the SEL1 – You want to race but are not quite on the level of the Elite ridersL2 – Love to rub elbows and race but also have funFun – Great place to start,  you are just out to have fun and learn from others\n\n\n\nWhat are the Age Categories?\n\n\n\nMale/Female Ride together (in categories below) – Race is run at same time as Female Adult RaceJuvenile – Riders Born between 10 – 11Youth – Riders Born between 08 – 09\n
